A person who is an adult can be described as a human being or any other animal that has reached the full growth.The biological meaning of the term refers to animals that have reached sexual maturity and thus capable of reproduction. In the context of humans, the word adult could mean anything that is related to legal or social concepts. Legally mature means that a person has reached the age of adulthood and is defined as autonomous, self-sufficient as well as responsible. An adult who is legally mature can be referred to as a major. 18 years is considered as the age of legal maturity, but this definition can differ according to the nation, lawful rights or the development of a person's psychological.

Adulthood refers to the period in the human lifespan when the person is at maturation in both physical and mental development. The majority of people believe that adulthood is attained when you are 20 or more. The age of old is 60 years later than middle the age of 60. Early adulthood begins between the age of 18 and 30. Mid-life adulthood begins around between the mid-30s and 60s. Later adulthood is when we reach mid-60s. The physical maturation process is complete at the point we are in our early adulthood years (20-40s), although height and weight might increase slightly. The physical abilities of our bodies are at their peak in young adulthood. This includes muscle strength and reflex speed, as well as sensitivities, and functioning of the heart.
