Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress most commonly known for her part as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the first moments in her existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk was a small actress in commercials. In 1997, she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto for her acting to advance, then after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an Actorsworkshop held in Los Angeles. In December 2009 they married after a civil wedding ceremony. They were married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011they renewed their vows, following Silk's decision to convert to Judaism. Silk had a child that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13, 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was expecting while shooting the final season of the third series. The actress announced her pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on the 6th of January, 2013. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season and on June 20 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to the series. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couple with the same name in Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared that they were the top Television Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge online fan base on Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
